Patrick J. Boylan Funeral Director, Supervisor

Patrick J. Boylan joined his father in the funeral business in 1971 and the funeral home was enlarged and remodeled the following year. In 1984, Pat took over management and the family opened a second funeral home in the Zelienople community in 1986. Pat remains committed to improving funeral service for the families in the community. His faithful service also includes donating his time to reconstruct the Evans City Cemetery after tornado damage, as well as, donating many granite memorials to the local communities.

Patrick Boylan II Funeral Director, Supervisor, Pre-Need Funeral Planning Specialist

In 1991, Patrick J. Boylan II graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and received the John Rebol Award for his outstanding achievement in all branches of the curriculum. Patrick helped establish the area’s most family friendly Pre-Need Funeral Planning Program. He now devotes his time exclusively to guiding families through the process of pre-planning funeral and cremation services.

Adam M. Boylan Funeral Director, Supervisor

Adam M. Boylan graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was a starting safety on the IUP Football team for four years and enjoyed the team’s playoff appearances. In January of 2004 Adam graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and joined his grandfather, father, and brother in the family business.

Theodore C. "Ted" Borden Funeral Director, Supervisor, Pre-Need Funeral Planning Specialist

In January of 2012, Ted graduated Summa Cum Laude and achieved the John Rebol & Restorative Art Award from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He also received his Bachelor's Degree from Thiel College. Ted is currently serving families in all aspects of arrangements since he joined the Boylan Family of Funeral Homes in 2012.

Ashley L. Baldauf-Kreil Funeral Director, Supervisor, Office Manager

In 2013, Ashley L. Baldauf-Kreil obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Point Park University, majoring in Funeral Service with a minor in psychology. She went on to graduate summa cum laude from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2014, receiving the John Rebol Award for her outstanding achievement in all branches of the curriculum. Full of creativity, she enjoys costuming and prop making in her down time. She also loves to engage in pop culture and comic books.

Ashley is currently serving families in all aspects of arrangements since she joined the Boylan and Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Homes in December of 2014. She also holds a certificate to operate the crematory from the Crematory Association of North America.

Reid Moon Certified Celebrant & Chaplain, Funeral Assistant

Reid Moon has served as the funeral home’s celebrant and chaplain since July, 2017. He has advanced, certified training to help families plan a one-of-a-kind service that will honor your loved one lost, comfort those who are grieving and meet the specific needs of your family in time of loss. Reid has been a resident of the Zelienople community since 1988. He has over 30 years of experience as a youth and senior pastor and served in a number of volunteer positions in the community. His genuine compassion for those who have suffered loss, his interest in people and his skills in listening and public speaking make Reid well suited to come alongside of your family in this time of need. He also facilitates a grief support group called GriefShare. Reid and his wife, Krista, have three married children and ten grandchildren.

Robert E. Sopko Funeral Director, Supervisor

Robert E. Sopko is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and holds certifications as a Certified Crematory Operator and Certified Celebrant. He joined the Boylan Funeral Home in 2022 after relocating from the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.
