Obituary for Waylon Ries Phillips

Waylon Ries Phillips, age 6 days, passed away, surrounded by his loving parents, on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born October 1, 2019 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Anthony David Phillips and Amber Jane Riesmeyer of Butler.

In addition to his parents, Waylon is survived by his siblings, Lennox David Phillips and Emery Ann Phillips; his maternal grandfather, Norman Craig Riesmeyer; his maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Thomas and her husband, Russell; his paternal grandmother, Lou Ann Kennedy and her husband, John; his paternal grandfather, David Phillips; his uncle, Travis Riesmeyer and his wife, Rebecca and their children, Natalie, Mackenzie and Olivia; his aunt, Sara Murin and her husband Tyler, and their children, Jayden and Sofiya; and his aunt, Stefanie Kepple and her children, Brentley and Grayson.

Waylon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Billie Ann Kerr and his uncle, Trent Robert Riesmeyer and numerous other family members.

A private family visitation and funeral service were held at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Twp., 856 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.

Waylon will be laid to rest next to his great-grandfather, Norman H. Riesmeyer at Butler County Memorial Park.
